Server Status
So my server was out of service for a couple of days. I don’t really use it that much, but still found it incredibly annoying. I guess I use it for email. But it wasn’t just hte lack of email that I found annoying. It’s now on a new machine at a new data center. I seem to have more options available to me, though at the expense of not being able to run Java Servlets anymore. Oh well. It’s also pretty damn slow right now, though hopefully it should pick up. I’ll probably hack the time-related code back to using GMT, becuase it is annoying me to no end.
On another note: I have installed KDE on my Linux system as well now. So far it seems to be performing well. Still doesn’t quite have the instantaneous response that Windows has, but so far things have kept up well. I’ll give it a couple more days of uptime to see how it goes. So far so good.
