Turning Out To Be A Pretty Good Week

(What are the rules for capitalizing a title?)

Anyways, so it’s turning out to be a pretty good week. First yesterday, I found my lost pen. It is one of those Fischer Space Pens. Nice and small, easy to carry — easy to loose too. I’d lost it a couple of weeks ago. I figured it was somewhere in my house it would eventually turn up. Yesterday it rolled out from underneath the driver’s side seat after a little “spirited” driving. w00t!

Now today.. I started playing around with Java and some J2ME stuff a couple of months ago. I thought it was cool and bought myself that Motorola T720. It was good. Except it turns out after playing with it some, that there were problems with Java MIDlets accessing the network. I hate to say it, but it did dampen my enthusiasm for some of the projects I was working on. Why would I want to work on something that I can’t even use? Anyways, turns out Cingular recently fixed their problems, and documented the necessary info (proper working DNS IPs) and everything works. And the speeds aren’t too bad.

Wait, wait.. there’s more. AND it turns out the T720 supports socket connections! At least, according to Motorola’s documentation. Absolutely awesome. Though there’s mention of a memory leak. Hrmm.. hopefully that’s been resolved. Ehh.. whatever. I can program with renewed vigor now!

There are no hard rules for a title.

The most general is to not capitalize articles.

An example with your title, “Turning Out To Be a Pretty Good Week”.

Oh yeah, with an obvious exception, the first word is always capitalized: “The Mysteries of the Deep C”.

Except from an aesthetic point of view, I find that one lowercase “a” to .. uncomfortable. Lack of uniformity or something.
