New Year’s Resolutions
I never made a post about my New Year’s Resolutions. And I guess many sources recommend writing down your goals because it helps in achieving them or something. Most people will want to fix something, improve on something. Mine are rather straightforward.
- Start my company. Make some money. A couple people have asked me what my company will do. It’s really more of a side job. I tell people that is is to “commercialize my spare time.” I’ve got a couple things in the pipeline, and I still need to set up a website. I’ve been working on setting up a proper project management site with bug tracker, etc (using Trac, which I found from the Wordpress site or around there) and reworking some of my network infrastructure (isolating my backup/fileserver machine from my publicly accessible dev machine. Beyond the technical I need to setup a couple accounts, get a mailbox, and file a FBN/DBA.
- Learn guitar. At least to the point that I can amuse myself.
