Skype for Pocket PC

There is a new version of Skype for Pocket PC. I had posted previously about how Skype ran pretty poorly on the Wizard.
Well, this new release comes in a special “your device is slow” version. Make sure to grab the “low cpu” version. It definitely seems to work better (primarily because the old version barely worked). IMing seems to work pretty flawlessly. Outoing voice seemed to work, but incoming voice was giving me some issues. As in, it was coming back many minutes later. Might have just been a fluke. I’ll have to give it a try another time.
One thing that is kinda annoying though is that the audio comes out of the speakers instead of coming out of the earpiece, so you can’t really use it phone-style. And I haven’t figured out (or tried to figure out) how to use my Bluetooth headset to channel the audio. Actually the wired headset that came with the Wizard would probably work well. It has stereo so it is obviously intended to channel the audio. But I wonder if the mic on the headset can be used outside of just phone calls.
Regardless, I’m probably not going to use Skype too much on my Wizard.
