New Year’s Resolutions for 2006

OK, so January is almost over. But the Chinese New Year has just begun so cut me some slack. I actually came up with this list earlier, but I’m posting them now. Something about writing your goals down help you accomplish them.

  1. Make $X in net revenue from my business. I’m not going to write down the dollar amount publicly, but 1/12 of the year is over and I’m not 1/12 of the way there yet. But hopefully my revenue growth won’t be linear. And hopefully I’ll have revenue and growth. This is an extension of one of my last year’s resolutions.
  2. Do one thing extra each to day to make the apartment cleaner. Extra as in something that is out of the norm. I regularly wash the dishes and take out the trash, so those don’t count.
  3. Go through my bills/mail each weekend. Instead of waiting until they grow to be a giant pile.
  4. Learn guitar to the point of self entertainment. This one is a carry over from last year. And it’ll be a carryover until it happens.

I thought there was at least one more. I’ll add it when I remember.

Edit: The one I forgot:

  1. Pay off my loans (car and student).

I’m looking at the pile of stuff (my stuff probably) on the coffee table and just started cracking up.
