New Year’s Resolutions for 2006
OK, so January is almost over. But the Chinese New Year has just begun so cut me some slack. I actually came up with this list earlier, but I’m posting them now. Something about writing your goals down help you accomplish them.
- Make $X in net revenue from my business. I’m not going to write down the dollar amount publicly, but 1/12 of the year is over and I’m not 1/12 of the way there yet. But hopefully my revenue growth won’t be linear. And hopefully I’ll have revenue and growth. This is an extension of one of my last year’s resolutions.
- Do one thing extra each to day to make the apartment cleaner. Extra as in something that is out of the norm. I regularly wash the dishes and take out the trash, so those don’t count.
- Go through my bills/mail each weekend. Instead of waiting until they grow to be a giant pile.
- Learn guitar to the point of self entertainment. This one is a carry over from last year. And it’ll be a carryover until it happens.
I thought there was at least one more. I’ll add it when I remember.
Edit: The one I forgot:
- Pay off my loans (car and student).

I’m looking at the pile of stuff (my stuff probably) on the coffee table and just started cracking up.
