I’m not in a good mood
… I think I can blame some of it on Syriana. Man, I want my money back. As a liberal, I might be able to enjoy the “oil companies control the world” conspiracy, but the movie totally didn’t do it for me. The trailer completely misrepresented the movie. All the dramatic lines and explosions in the trailer? Don’t expect many more of those in the movies. Instead of old spy taking control of destiny and fight Evil Co, it was more old spy and bits and pieces of politics.
I wasn’t expecting an action movie, but I was expecting some solid drama. It didn’t flow well for me, and I felt the characters were not very deep.
